This study aims to determine the nutritional status of futsal extracurricular
participants in Unismuh Makassar 1 Senior High School. This research is
descriptive by using independent variables. The population of this study was all
students who participated in futsal extracurricular activities at Unismuh Makassar
1 Senior High School with a total sample of 25 people selected by saturated
sampling. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique
(percentage) using the SPSS Version 16.00 system.
Based on the results of data analysis, this study concluded that: from 25
research samples mean = 19.93, median = 19.50, mode = 16.66, standard deviation
= 3.54, range = 16.14. the maximum value = 30.88, the minimum value = 14.74,
sum = 498.36. Based on the recapitulation of the nutritional status of futsal
extracurricular participants at Unismuh Makassar 1 Senior High School, it appears
that out of the 25 samples that had underweight categories were 9 people (36.0%),
the normal category was 13 people (52.0%), the overweight category ( overweight)
as much as 1 person (4.0%), the category of obesity I as much as 1 person (4.0%),
and the category of obesity II as much as 1 person (4.0%). For the percentage of
body fat content, which has a low category of 4 people (16.0%), a normal category
of 19 people (76.0%), a slighty high category of 1 person (4.0%) and a high category
of 1 person (4.0%).
Thus it can be concluded that the nutritional status of futsal extracurricular
students in Unismuh Makassar 1 Senior High School is predominantly in the normal
category.
